What actually Bodo is ? Bodo is a language, a tribe and a community of India, Nepal and Bangladesh.  Large number of Bodo people live in India and their mother tongue is Bodo . It is said that Bodo  language is a member of Tibeto-burman or Sino- Tibetan language family. Bodo language is one of the Eighth Schedule languages of Indian Constitution. Bodo language is officially used in Bodoland Territorial Region( BTR ) and as associate official language in Assam , India. Bodo group of people are included as Scheduled Tribe( ST ) in the Constitution of India. As per 2011 indian government' Socio-Economic sencus, there is 1.5 million Bodo speakers in Assam.
